When we were sitting at dinner during our reception, Paige handed us a cute Polaroid of us (which are so fun – went and bought my own at Target yesterday!). Rylan looked at it, smiled, and then slid it across the table to me.
He simply said, “Look. It’s the Johnson’s.”
It’s really the only story I can tell right now because each time I look at this top picture, I start to cry. And the Polaroid story is the only one I can spit out.

The wedding was full of moments just like this. Hilarious, light hearted, and full of love. Cade is wearing the cutest suit with flip flops because it was summer, after all, and he had other things to worry about.
Like carrying the 50 pound family Bible.
Our wedding was full of heart. Full of personalization. I have so much to share!

The girls waited with me in the tent before the ceremony and I could not talk Gracey into wearing her fairy head piece. She would, however, wear it as a “bracelet” around her arm. And she did and it was perfect.
These pictures make my heart swell ten times it’s size. I’m proud and amazed at how easily the kids have bonded and how strong our family already is.

And I share this one because the laughing – the light-hearted amazing time we have together – usually looks like this.
Take a good look at what happens when you marry your best friend. Goodness and bliss and belly laughs. Oh how I adore this man.
More soon. Overwhelmed trying to tell this story in a way that makes sense.
XOXO.
