{ brunch instead }

Our summer wedding …

Picture this.

Late morning ceremony held outside.

Chairs circled around us …  instead of in rows.

Promises and vows and tears and smiles and rings and children and a family is created.

With a chic brunch to follow.

Pancakes and fruit and cocktails and a ruffled strawberry tiered cake.

It’s not a dance all night sort of celebration.

But what it IS … is a new beginning worthy of a category all it’s own.

XOXO.

Yep. That’s a Val-and-Rylan wedding. Perfection. I can’t wait to see the strawberry smears on Clair-bear’s face. :)

So exciting! You said chairs in a circle, and I immediately thought of something that I had seen on Pinterest – of course :) Anyway, here is the link; scroll down to the 4th photo.

I was just talking with a co-worker today and she was telling me about a sunrise wedding she went to last summer in custer state park. after the wedding they served a full brunch. what a fun twist on the ceremony.

..and quilts out on the lawn, you could give them away as mementos to your family and wedding party as “favors”. Something they will actually use :)
You could also make a few tents for the kids out of kingsize sheets (look on my Pinterest if you don’t have the link or let me know).
..don’t forget the romantic dinner at night for just you guys or just family :)
Sounds awsome. SO excited for you…

LOVE it!
and vintage fabric banners, you must have fabric banners on the brunch table! I do a waffle bar (don’t forget the turkey bacon!)and use glass parfait cups to hold toppings.
The pancakes on sticks look perfect! You have the best idea in the WORLD!
